This is a nurturing environment where children, staff, parents and governors know each other and share a common understanding of the School’s purpose – to ‘aim high’ and through shared understanding of Gospel values, ensure that the potential of every child is fully achieved. Our children are happy, sociable, well-behaved and value our diversity, which enriches everything we do. We are recognised as ‘outstanding’ by the local authority and are confident this will be endorsed at our next Ofsted inspection.

Sports Day!

Last Friday, the whole of St Mary Magdalen’s Catholic Primary School headed over to the Kings College Sports Ground for our annual Sports Day. The weather was perfect with hardly a cloud in the sky as the children arrived in the morning. The children competed in their house teams within their classes at 8 different events. There was the Tidy up game, Standing Triple/Long jump, Rugby Race, Shot Put, Egg and Spoon Race, Dressing Up Race, Shuttle Run and Skipping Race. Every class had a go at each activity before finally we came to the class races, the results of which are shown in the table below.
