This is a nurturing environment where children, staff, parents and governors know each other and share a common understanding of the School’s purpose – to ‘aim high’ and through shared understanding of Gospel values, ensure that the potential of every child is fully achieved. Our children are happy, sociable, well-behaved and value our diversity, which enriches everything we do. We are recognised as ‘outstanding’ by the local authority and are confident this will be endorsed at our next Ofsted inspection.

PTA

A thriving Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is important to the health of the School, and (even if you have only a few hours a week to spare) you can get actively involved.

The PTA's objective is to support the School in whatever way it can.  It brings together parents and school staff and organises events such as coffee mornings and evening socials which have the dual purpose of getting people together, and of raising funds.

Every penny raised goes directly to fund items and projects (such as the new KS1 playground) that the School could not otherwise afford within its mainstream budget.  PTA officers are volunteers and serve through a sense of personal commitment to the School.

Being involved with the PTA, whether as one of the above PTA officers or simply by attending meetings or the events we organise, will give you greater insight into School life and you will find it rewarding to work closely with other parents, as a team, to further the School's objectives.

If you're interested in knowing more, please ask for Mel Ruggeri (mother of Sofia, Yr 3) or Nicola Williams (mother of Nathaniel, Aaron and Michaela) in the School playground.

Details of PTA meetings and events will be posted here as information becomes available.
